Description:
The Technical Architect is responsible for the overall technical design based on the business, functional and technical requirements coming from an enterprise-scale customer within the Retail or Fashion & Lifestyle industries. The proposed design should fulfill the business problems and meet objectives or goals of the project. He/she should possess industry focus.
The Technical Architect provides technology direction from Industry specific or new offering perspectives to the customer and internal teams. He/She would also perform specific tasks based on the demands of the project.
Essential Functions:
· Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Engage with the customers by:
• Providing industry specific solutions and best practices knowledge to customers.
• Ensuring that solutions, implementation and other relevant methodologies and tools are deployed efficiently in customer strategic workshops and deliveries and ensure that these solutions are delivered on time and are of the highest quality.
• Understanding customer requirements and assist in selling additional business. Working closely with Rizing sales force and solutions architects contributing to solution proposals to meet the customer's needs, timelines and estimates effort and resources required.
• Demonstrating creativity and thought leadership and using experience in substantiating the proposed solutions to the client.
• Maintaining and expanding customer contact at a high level and building credible relationships with key customer personnel.
• Contributing to development projects by analyzing client's business processes and designing the appropriate solution. Moving logically and creatively from facts to conclusions.
• Developing implementation/solution framework and plan to achieve customer’s business targets.

Provide Leadership by:
• For assigned projects overseeing all activities related to all relevant technology practices leading to the implementation of the requirements as defined in the SOW (Setting priorities appropriately and ensure that work outputs are timely and of the highest quality) while coordinating with other stakeholders in the project.
• Working closely with the development & implementation teams to ensure seamless delivery of services as specified in the SOW.
• Working with all stake holders of a given project to ensure seamless and successful delivery of services to the customer.
• Working with the Project Manager/Consulting Manager and Project Leads in drafting the project plan (scope, effort, deliverables, timelines and resources), assisting in identifying and recruiting team members, and preparing and assisting in the preparation of individual work plans.
· Evaluate the engineering practices of the project teams by looking into the work deliverables (functional & non-functional requirements; for example, security, performance, usability & reusability, source code, unit testing & continuous build procedures).
· Research on new technologies and tools to accelerate the solution development & implementation. Help upgrade existing frameworks to satisfy current needs of the organization.
· Interact with Rizing country organizations as appropriate, to deploy the requisite expertise on the engagement team to address specific client needs in a timely and efficient manner and ensure client access to the best available resources.
· Be a role model and coach for team members by playing a mentor role. Identify and nominate necessary training for the development and upskilling of Rizing’s resources.
· Provide meaningful feedback on the overall performance of project team members.
· Document and disseminate knowledge within organization and conduct subject matter training (classroom, virtual connect sessions, etc).
· Work with the Management Team to secure Rizing’s current & future strategy, and its execution.
· Perform any additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when required by the management.
· Performs other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
· General degree or equivalent/recognized professional qualifications.
· A minimum of 10-12 years of technical experience and industry knowledge.
· in depth integrated business process and solution knowledge
· Possess a thorough understanding of integrated business environments - ideally in Retail or Fashion and Lifestyle industries.
· Deep understanding of on Rizing’s Enterprise Application/Technology portfolio and having proficiency in multiple Enterprise Applications/Technologies.
· Be familiar with state-of-the-art IT solutions, e.g., SAP, POS and web solutions.
· A minimum of 5 complete project life cycles in Architecting role with customer engagement.
· Certification in Project Management would be an added advantage.
